Let's just say David is a man of the world. Because he's not only responsible for HR activities in the U.S., but globally as well. That's a pretty big job, and he's well prepared to help us build a "world class" HR organization.

He comes to us with experience in domestic and international HR, labor practices, mergers, and acquisitions in public and private companies. And he's held both staff and executive positions in other business doctrines, so he can relate to "real" workplace concerns on all levels. 

Plus, he's no stranger to the health care industry either. His resume includes heading up HR for a publicly held medical device design and manufacturing company with more than 10,000 worldwide employees. His experience also includes overseeing HR and administration for a company with more than 23,000 employees in over 30 countries. That's a lot of people. 

Some might wonder how David makes it seem easy to keep track of our people around the world. We joke that it's his background as an accountant. But he's always the first to point out that the people here are never just numbers. And what he finds most rewarding is our people, in turn, each day "help improve the lives of thousands of people around the world."
