Because information technology goes over many people's heads, we asked David to approach it from down under. Literally from Down Under—in our Metagenics Australia headquarters.

David's been associated with the Metagenics family since 1996 when he joined our distributor Health World Limited in Brisbane as an accountant, then later again to head up IT operations as their finance manager. When Health World became an official member of our family in 2005, we saw what David could do for us worldwide as well.

He's done a great job getting us timely information for a clear view of our whole business—vital for quick, accurate, and informed decisions and planning. And a cool side benefit is he's such a fun guy that he makes all that complicated stuff sound interesting.

Fun, yes, but also motivated by a more meaningful purpose. David's career choices have helped people recapture their health (Metagenics, Health World), reduce stress (tourism/hotel/resort industry), and reclaim a healthier environment (green energy industry). In fact, it was when he started at Health World that he developed a strong passion for systems and identifying opportunities for waste elimination.

David also joins the ranks of our other well-traveled leaders—having worked in London, Osaka, and our sunny beach hometown of San Clemente. But having seen the ocean from many world vantage points, he's happiest with the beach views in his home country of Australia, where he now resides again with his family.
