Jean can speak to good health in any language—and fluently in at least four (English, French, Italian, and Portuguese). He's a veteran of pharmaceutical industry giants and specialty biopharmaceutical companies. So his background is an ideal complement to the way we now research and develop our nutritional products.

His resume is a virtual Who's Who that includes Eli Lilly & Company, DuPont Pharma, UCB, and Sankyo Pharmaceuticals Company, Ltd. He brings experience in sales, marketing, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and general management—both domestic and international.

To say he's well traveled is an understatement. He was educated in Belgium and has managed pharma divisions in the U.S., Canada, South America, Italy, Japan, China, Southeast Asia, and Scandinavian countries. But he's no stranger to the nutrition business. Later in Belgium, he was on the executive team at what is now our Metagenics EU base of operations (formerly Biodynamics NV, a leading manufacturer and distributor of professional nutraceuticals in the Benelux countries).

And we're not the only ones who seek his counsel. He also serves on the board of directors for two publicly-traded companies: KV Pharmaceutical Company (U.S.) and Advanced Proteome Therapeutics Corporation (Canada).

For someone who frequently travels such great distances, you'll find him to be one of the most approachable and personable executives you'll ever encounter. In other words, he fits right in.
