Tim is no stranger to taking chances. Not only was he quick to sign on to a fledgling start-up with his 3 big brothers, but he also met his wife Kelley on a blind date. Both gambles paid off big time. (Kelley Katke has also been actively involved with Metagenics in key roles in operations and marketing.)

He's never been known to sit still for very long. So over the years Tim has grown with the company, advancing in ranks and growing sales. (16 years of managing consecutive double-digit sales growth is just one example.) He also embraces change and created the company's current sales management system.

Tim isn't afraid to take chances with new sales hires either. And not just so they can help us grow as company, but so they can build a better life than they had before. That kind of selfless leadership pays off. In 2008, the sales force opted to plant trees in New Orleans at the annual sales meeting instead of other leisurely activities—promoting a healthy environment for years to come.

As for himself, Tim attributes his current health to the choice he made years ago to become a part of the world of natural health care. We think he does a pretty good job of sharing that world with others.
