His name may be Lamb, but he's our research lion. Joe is a leading example of the caliber of our on-staff clinicians—dedicated not only to implementing nutritional protocols with patients and trial subjects, but also advancing nutritional research and presenting to scientific gatherings of our peers.
Prior to joining us in 2006, he ran a successful private practice in Alexandria, Virginia, where he integrated functional medicine principals. He's a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and a founding principal of the American Board of Holistic Medicine.
Joe has served in collegiate faculty and adjunct positions for prestigious institutes such as the George Washington University School of Medicine. And contributed to several medical textbooks, including the Textbook of Functional Medicine published by the Institute for Functional Medicine, where he serves on the advisory committee for continuing medical education.
He's also active in community service and frequently invited to lecture on integrative health topics ranging from pain management and healthy aging to women's health and complementary cancer care. And he's helping spread the word about successful lifestyle protocols directly to patients in his advisory role on StopChronicDisease.com.
