Matt conducted industrial research for nearly 20 years in Fortune 500 companies such as Kellogg Company, Miller Brewing Company, and Kraft General Foods before joining Metagenics to head up R & D and usher in a whole new era of nutraceutical development.

He received his master's degree from Western Michigan University and his doctorate in microbiology and physiology from Washington State University. Before his corporate gigs, Matt was recognized for landmark molecular research discoveries. He continues that legacy by helping us identify novel natural substances to help modulate gene expression to improve health.
