Observing Nutritional Approaches on a Case-by-Case Basis
In the case management program, the FMRC takes an individualized approach and designs a dietary and nutritional treatment program specifically for each patient based on the presenting conditions and medical history. All office appointments, laboratory testing, and nutritional pharmacy costs are covered by the FMRC. There is absolutely no cost to patients.
After acceptance into the program, this is the basic outline for an individualized case management approach:
- An initial visit in which a detailed medical history is obtained and pertinent laboratory testing is determined.
- A follow-up exam is then scheduled for review of findings and commencement of therapy.
- Follow-up appointments are scheduled at 2-to-4 week intervals to assess progress, modify the treatment, and perform follow-up testing.
- The study proceeds for 16-24 weeks.
