The Functional Medicine Research CenterSM, the clinical research arm of Metagenics, Inc., is located on the functional medicine campus of Metagenics in Gig Harbor, Washington. The FMRC focuses on investigating and developing treatment approaches using diet, nutritional supplementation, and other natural therapies-including FirstLine Therapy®. Many of our current products and formulas in development are tested for effectiveness here.
The FMRC sees patients in two ways—clinical trials to assess the value of specific diet and nutritional supplementation programs and individualized case management studies (ICMs) that expand the center's research and understanding. Each year, the center conducts over 2,000 patient visits.
With expanded facilities and resources, the FMRC is able to conduct more research than ever before. We are the only company in our niche to demonstrate our commitment to research through the huge investment necessary to make the FMRC a reality.
